At Highland Outfitters, we believe that fly fishing the right way is absolutely essential to a successful day on the water fishing these great rivers and waterways of western North Carolina and East Tennessee. We have taken years to study the waters of The Elk River, the Watauga River, the New River, The South Holston River, and the Linville River and have developed very cool methods for finding the "big ones". We take time to teach all of our guests the tricks of the trade.
