The Pineola Inn is owned and operated by Troy and Bette Clark in Pineola, NC, a neighboring hamlet of Newland and Banner Elk. Along with the inn Troy and Bette have the High Country Ski Shop, Pineola Motel, a wonderful country store with a souvenir and gift shop; and in the Country Store we have a museum of Native American Artifacts. This is one of the largest collections of Indian Artifacts in the area collected over many years by Mr. Tom Dellinger and Mr. Roy Dellinger.

Two Queens - Pineola Inn is located 3 miles south of Linville on Hwy. 221. The Inn consists of 40 rooms that are large, clean, and modern with color cable TV, room phones, electric heat and air conditioning.

One King - Visitors can enjoy the fresh cool mountain air of spring and summer while they play golf, enjoy trout fishing or visit the many attractions in the mountains that are only a few minutes away.

Two Doubles - Few places in world are as beautiful as the mountains of Western North Carolina in the fall and winter.

The ski shop is conveniently located for skiers coming to the area for a great time on either Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, or Applachian Ski Mountain. The shop is only 7 minutes from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. The shop specializes in cross country skis; rentals and sales, but also stocks downhill skis and snowboards.

In the repair department we have added a stone grinder for the ultimate tune-up. We offer a racing tune-up by our staff who has many years experience.
